The three types of magnetic door access locks commonly used in the market

Author:深圳市沙漠之舟安防有限公司 Time:2024-04-23 15:47:29

The function of an electric lock in an access control system is mainly to control the opening and closing of the door. 'Access Control System' in the field of intelligent buildings refers to the 'Access Control System', abbreviated as ACS. It refers to the restricted access rights for 'doors' and the security precautions for 'doors'. The access control system is also known as the entrance and exit management system, which is an intelligent control system for effectively managing personnel entry and exit and the entry and exit of items. It replaces the traditional cumbersome security guard work and can achieve high-efficiency and high-tech modern management. The access rights of cardholders, the allowed entry and exit times, can all be conveniently and uniformly managed. All personnel's entry and exit details, alarm information and other materials are reflected in the management center in real time, and all historical information can be queried under certain conditions.

The entrance and exit access control security management system is a new type of modern security management system. It integrates microcomputer automatic identification technology and modern security management measures. It involves many new technologies such as electronics, mechanics, optics, computer technology, communication technology, and biotechnology. It is an effective measure to achieve security prevention management for important entrances and exits. It is applicable to various confidential departments, such as banks, hotels, parking lot management, computer rooms, armory depots, confidential offices, office spaces, intelligent residential areas, factories, etc.

The access control system has long gone beyond the simple management of doors and keys. It has gradually evolved into a complete access control system. It plays a significant role in administrative management tasks such as workplace security and personnel attendance management.

Electric locks are usually used in access control systems. Take this simple access control system as an example. It consists of an access control host, an access card reader, a door opening button, an electric lock, and management software, and the electric lock is one of the important components.

The function of electric locks in the access control system is mainly to control the opening and closing of the door. Currently, the commonly used electric locks in access control systems include magnetic locks, electric plug locks, and electronic locks, etc. Now, Xiaofei will introduce our magnetic lock to everyone. Friends, hurry up and get your stools ready!

1.1 Principle of Magnetic Lock

The design of the magnetic lock is similar to that of the electromagnet. It utilizes the principle of electricity generating magnetism. When current passes through the silicon steel sheet, the magnetic lock will generate a strong suction force, firmly holding the attached iron plate to achieve the locking effect of the door. The access control system that controls the power supply of the magnetic lock will cut off the power after correctly identifying the person, and the magnetic lock will lose its suction force, allowing the door to be opened.

1.2 Classification of Magnetic Locks

Magnetic locks can be divided into single-door magnetic locks and double-door magnetic locks. The single-door magnetic lock is mainly used for single-door types, while the double-door magnetic lock is used for double-door types.

1.3 Installation Method Description for Magnetic Locks

Suitable for wooden doors, glass doors, metal doors, fireproof doors, etc.

The magnetic lock can be opened by power-off. Because one side will be blocked by the magnetic lock, it can only be opened in a 90° direction.

The magnetic locks must be equipped with brackets. Each single-door magnetic lock requires 1 set of brackets, and each double-door magnetic lock requires 2 sets of brackets.

1.4 Installation Example of Magnetic Lock

1.5 Magnetic Lock Bracket

The commonly used brackets on the market at present mainly include the LZ type and the U type. The LZ type can be applied to lower framed doors. The L bracket is used to fix the magnetic lock on the door frame, and the Z type bracket is fixed on the door.

The commonly used electric locks in the access control system include magnetic locks, electric plug locks, and electronic key locks, etc. In the following, I will introduce each of them to you one by one. Dear friends, hurry up and get your stools ready!
